1. Genfiles  (general files)

   output file = genfiles.cmp  (renamed to genfiles on Toshiba) 

2. Sparfiles (slur and tie parameter files) 

   Slurs:  To begin with, slur parameters are stored 
           in the library 
           &dIC:\MUSPRINT\BITMAP<size>\SLURS\C\ 1 to 11 \ 1 to 11&d@ 
              
           You must run the program, &dIcompspar.z&d@, for each size 
           and put the encoded results in the library, &dISPARFILS&d@ 

   Ties:   For ties, you run the program, &dIcomptpar.z&d@.  This will 
           put the encoded results in the library, &dISPARFILS&d@.  

   compression program:  compile.z 

   input library = SPARFILS 

   output file = sparfils.cmp  (renamed to sparfils on Toshiba) 

3. Fonts 

   The program, &dIcompfont.z&d@, has the names of all of the font 
   files that need to be compressed.  

   output file = fonts 

4. Help 

   compression program:  compile.z 

   input library = HELP    

   output file = helpfils.cmp  (renamed to helpfils on Toshiba) 

4. Zprogs 

   compression program:  compile.z 

   input library = ZPROGS 

   output file = zpgsfils.cmp  (renamed to zpgsfils on Toshiba)
