Tonal Theory for the Digital Age

Edited by Walter B. Hewlett, Eleanor Selfridge-Field, and Edmund Correia, Jr.

This interdisciplinary survey of current work in tonal music theory, perception, and analysis demonstrates how computational approaches are changing the landscape of tonal theory itself. Contributors come from computer science, mathematics, neuroscience, operations research, and psychology as well as music history and theory.
